Oncology

Eisai is dedicated to discovering, developing and producing innovative oncology therapies that can improve and prolong the lives of cancer patients around the world.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. More than one million women a year are diagnosed with breast cancer worldwide 1,2.

Survival rates for early diagnosed breast cancer have improved dramatically in recent years, however most women diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer still only live for less than two years after diagnosis3.
